Master Lee Farewell Party
Friday, October 2nd 2020
Hello Tae Kwon Do Students and Families,
We would like to say thank you for your continuing support. The encouragement, kind words, and enthusiasm expressed to us by all of you has helped us to endure the challenges brought on by this Pandemic. There are certainly many hurdles still ahead, but we know that our Taekwondo family is strong, and with your help we are confident that our dojang will continue to be a resource to the Austin community for many years to come.
Since opening our schools in Round Rock and Cedar Park over 6 years ago, we have made it our goal to provide the highest quality instructors to our students. We have selected and trained instructors who are committed to delivering the World Class experience that we have promised you.
Master Inkyu Lee has been a phenomenal member of our teaching staff for the past few years. Similar to Master Yang, he came to the US from Korea, with the goal of opening his own Taekwondo school. He specifically chose to work for both of us because he had heard of the quality and reputation of our school and the World Class system.
Now, after years of dedication and learning, Master Lee is ready to pursue his dream and will begin the process to start his own dojang. It is a bittersweet moment for us, but one that we planned on. We are very proud of Master Lee for reaching this stage, and we know that his passionate and kind teaching style will lead him to future success. Master Lee has not yet determined an exact location for his school, but he will be moving outside of our immediate area and will need several months to prepare. Our Cedar Park team of instructors will take over Master Lee's classes at that point, and they are eager to help all students to continue to advance their skills and ranks.
We are excited for Master Lee and would like to invite everyone to help us wish him well in his new adventure. We will be hosting both a virtual and an in person Farewell Celebration on Friday October 2nd at our Headquarter location in Round Rock. All classes will be cancelled in both locations this day to show Master Lee our support.
THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
4PM TO 5PM — VIRTUAL FAREWELL CELEBRATION - Students are encouraged to make posters, draw pictures and share some kind and encouraging words for Master Lee
5:30PM TO 7PM - IN PERSON FAREWELL CELEBRATION - We will still follow our Covid 19 restrictions - when arriving we will be checking everyone's temperature and anyone with a temp of 99.9 or above will not allowed entry. We will be allowing up to 12 people at a time in which we are asking families to not take longer then 5 min each, so that all families to have their chance to congratulate Master Lee. Everyone will be required to wear a mask
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible either online or in person at the dojang to celebrate this special moment with Master Lee.
Thank you again for your support.
Sincerely,
Master Yang & Master Higgins
